May 2014

Ok, ya'll, here goes my May post and then I think I'll finally be caught up....at least for two weeks!

May started off with my 10.5 week ultrasound (baby had a really strong heartbeat!), story time with friends at the Zoo, Lee's UNM Foundation Board of Trustees quarterly reception, neighborhood play group at the park, Daddy and Landon date at the driving range, Landon's weekly soccer session, a trip to the duck pond on campus to feed the ducks (who knew ducks don't like wheat bread?), and the Coaches vs. Cancer Gala.

The second week was filled with a Mommy and Landon day at the Zoo, Landon's weekly occupational therapy and speech therapy sessions, Landon's monthly feeding therapy session (he graduated from feeding therapy this week....this is a BIG deal, ya'll!), Lee's Ambassador report session on the fund drive, dinner with the Danoffs, story time play date at the Zoo, date night for Lee and me, Landon's weekly soccer session, hair appt. for me, National Train Day at the ABQ train station, baby sat the Freeman girls, our tradition of Mother's Day brunch at Flying Star, and a nice, long, relaxing pedicure for myself.

The third week of the month we had Landon's weekly occupational therapy session, the Nunns over for dinner, my 12 week ultrasound, Landon's speech therapy session, Lee's Big Brother Big Sister's Mentor 2.0 Event, Landon spent at day at Debbie's so I could go to a doctor's appt., story time play date at the Zoo, dinner and UNM baseball game, play date with the Pitliks, Landon's weekly soccer session, UNM graduation and dinner, and the Reinosek's dinner party.

The following week was filled with lunch with Lee at the duck pond on campus, Landon's last occupational therapy session, Mommy and Landon shopping and lunch date, Lee's Big Brother Big Sister's board meeting, unexpected doctor's appt., Lee's parents flying in for Memorial Day weekend, dinner at Trombinos, Landon's weekly soccer session, Aquarium and Botanic Garden day, dollar movies with Landon, and lunch at Rudy's before Lee's parents left to go back to Houston.  Somehow I didn't get any pics of Lee's parents visit on my camera....they must all be on Lee's phone.

Whew, I think this officially catches me up on the blog!  See ya'll next month for June's update.

Busy week!

The following week we had lunch with Granddaddy and Shirley, Lee had the Final Four Championship Game, flying back with Landon on Steve's private plane, our weekly Bible Study, Landon's ENT follow up appointment, running errands, Zoo with Cody and Ashley, Landon's weekly occupational therapy session, neighborhood playgroup, and Landon's weekly Little Kickers Soccer session.

The third week of the month was filled with Landon's monthly feeding therapy session, a visit with his dietitian, speech therapy session, weekly Bible Study, dentist appointment, chick-fil-a play date and walk around the Academy with the Nunns, Lee's Ambassador kick of event, Landon getting a really awful stomach bug, UNM men's basketball banquet, birthday dinner for a friend, Landon's weekly soccer session, Easter service at Sagebrush, sunrise service at the football stadium on Easter morning, Easter brunch with the Freeman's, and me getting the stomach bug from Landon.

Finally, the last week of the month was the UNM student athlete awards banquet, Lee staying home with me for a sick day, Lee taking me to the hospital to get fluids because I was so dehydrated from being so sick for 5 days, Landon's weekly soccer session, zoo and lunch family day at Frontier, Big Brother Big Sister's Bowl for Kids Sake, aquarium day with Mommy and Landon, our weekly Bible Study, Lee traveling to Santa Fe for work, and Landon's speech therapy session.

April was a fun month, and I hope yours was too!
