We started off the month with a visit from one of Lee's friends, Jordan. Jordan has actually been to Tucson to visit us already so it was nice to do different things with him this time. The guys watched two U of A basketball games at McKale while I attended Pi Phi meetings and board mixers for my job.
Lee had his usual weekly basketball, softball, and soccer games. We even got to go to Phoenix one evening after work to visit some of Lee's friends from Notre Dame that were in town and had just gotten engaged. It was definitely fun to be apart of the engagement celebration!
In the middle of the month we were able take a helicopter tour of Tucson with our heli pilot friend, James, from our Sunday School class. Our realtor, Camille, came too. That was one of the neatest experiences of our lives. Here are a few pics from the helicopter.
The latter half of the month was filled with dinners at the Secrest's house, Kristine and Lauren's birthday parties, watching American Idol at the Sandin's house, Lee making the worship band at our church, becoming directors of our Sunday School class, having a girls night out with Andrea and sweet baby Selah, and attending the Notre Dame Universal Night in Tucson.
Lee also went to Houston one weekend for one of his high school friend's wedding. While in Houston, Lee was able to see all of our friends without me :( Here's a few pics from Lee's trip to H-Town
Finally, the last weekend of March was filled with my best friend from college, Jennifer, coming to visit me. We had a blast going to Mt. Lemmon, shopping in Scottsdale at Fashion Square, eating at my favorite restaurants, and just enjoying visiting. It sure felt great having one of my friends come visit us. I wish Jenn and I lived closer and hopefully some day we will.
The Lord sure has blessed beyond, and I hope everyone had a fantastic March!
