September 2014

September is such a fun month around our house.  It officially kicks of fall and the "holiday" season for us with Landon and me having birthdays this month.  I just love fall in the High Desert, a.k.a. Albuquerque!

The first week started off with a low key Labor Day, Landon's preschool, our weekly small group Bible Study, my prenatal appointment with Dr. Kennedy, dinner with the McLeans, Lee's weekly soccer game, breakfast at Flying Star with Derek while he was in town, Lobo football game vs. ASU, and finally Lobo men's soccer game.

The second was a very busy one with Landon's preschool, another dermatology appointment for me, our weekly small group Bible Study, going away dinner for Lauren at Sadie's, Lee's weekly soccer game, my mom came into town, running errands and getting Landon's birthday party supplies with my mom, date night for Lee and me, Lee's takes a day off of work, mom and me get pedicures, Lee's parents came into town, family dinner at Kelly's, Landon's 3rd birthday party at the house, breakfast at Blake's for Landon's actual 3rd birthday, and the balloon museum with both of our families.

The third week was filled mom leaving town, Landon's preschool, oil change at Rich Ford, my prenatal appointment, Landon's 3 year well check up with Dr. Suga (17% for height and 21% for weight!), drive to Tucson, family date night in Tucson at Sauce and Frost, my Tucson Baby Shower, my 30th birthday dinner with all of our Tucson friends at Blanco, Lee goes to the U of A football game, and breakfast at Nico's Taco Shop before driving back to the Q.

The last week of the month started off with my 30th birthday and birthday dinner at Vernon's Hidden Valley Steakhouse, Landon's preschool, volunteering in the Puppet Ministry at Landon's preschool, my birthday tea luncheon with Brandi and Tracee at St. James Tea Room, our weekly small group Bible Study, Lobo Women's Society kick off event, lunch date with Lee, Lee's UNM Homecoming event, Lobo football homecoming game vs. Fresno State, and family maternity pictures at Ellen Gallegos Open Space.  Have I mentioned how much I love living in the High Desert with the mountains, desert landscape, and some grass and trees?!

September was another busy but super fun month for us!

August 2014

Oh my, I see that I've fallen behind on blogging again.  Where does the time go?  Anyway, here is how our August went:

The first week started off with Lee's "Lobo Greats" golf tournament in Santa Fe, Landon and Daddy yard work day followed by the Isotopes baseball game, my prenatal glucose screening test (yuck but I passed!), our weekly small group Bible Study, prenatal doctor's appointment followed by lunch with Nicole and Baby Mckay, breakfast and play date with Cody and Ashley while my car was getting a recall fixed, drove to Ruidoso, watched Lobo football camp, drove to Carlsbad to see the Carlsbad Caverns, and drove back to ABQ.  Busy start to August!

The following week was filled with our weekly small group Bible Study, Lee's Lobo Club board meeting, Landon's open house for preschool, family date night to California Pizza Kitchen and the Apple store, Landon's school supplies shopping and haircut, Landon and Mommy's date to the Aquarium and Chick-Fil-A, family dinner at Santiago's and a ride up the Sandia Peak Tram, finally getting my hair cut and highlighted, and the Krebs' Annual BBQ.

The third week was much more low key with Landon starting preschool, our weekly small group Bible Study, Lee's parents coming into town, the Lobo Club Howl of a Good Time Auction, lounging around the house with family in town, and church and lunch.

The last week of the month was filled with lunch with Lee, Lee's finance committee meeting for work, Landon's preschool, dermatology appointment for me, our weekly small group Bible Study, Lee traveling to Dallas, lunch with Brandi and Tracee, eye doctor appointment for me, family dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings and UNM soccer and volleyball games, the first Lobo football game vs, UTEP, hosting Mckay's church blessing luncheon at our house, and Disney Jr. Live: Sofia the First and Jake the Neverland Pirate.

Whew!  That was a busy month!
