Amazing April

Ah, April!  This is usually a difficult month for me but this year proved to be an amazing one.

First, we started off the month by traveling to T-E-X-A-S for Easter, which just happens to be my favorite holiday.  If any of you have been in Texas during the spring, you'll understand why the spring is also my favorite season....my favorite flowers, tulips, just happen to be in bloom everywhere!  So, while we were in Texas, we stopped by the Dallas Arboretum.  Here are a few pics from that trip!

During our spring trip back to Texas we also saw our good friends, Theresa and Dave.  We sure miss them in Tucson but it's nice to see them so happy (and settled!) in Dallas.  We also got to spend time with my extended family and see my sweet nephew, Harley....I love him sooooo much!

Finally, Easter Sunday.  We went to early service at Lake Pointe with my parents, had Easter brunch, and then Easter dinner before heading back to the airport.

The next week was filled with attending Pi Phi Chapter at U of A, weekly basketball for Lee, our 241 Leadership Dessert at our house, my monthly board mixer, softball and soccer games for Lee, attending our good friend, Alexis, birthday party, U of A spring game, a date night sandwhiched between things, church, Lee taught Sunday School, and a baby shower......BUSY WEEK!!

The second week in April was just as busy but in a different way.  I worked late all week on one of my BIG events for my job, which was a huge success and raised lots of money for the kids!  Lee had basketball, softball, soccer, church, taught sunday school, and attended my big event, THE EVENT, on Sunday night.

The third week was pretty CRAZY as well.  Monday the 19th was the only day this entire month (including weekends!) that Lee and I did not have anything going on besides work, and I even had the day off!  Of course, Lee had his basketball, softball, and soccer games, we had the Sandin's over for dinner to watch American Idol, I had a girls happy hour with my work and then met Lee and our realtor, Camille, for dinner, we had the 2-day Key Leadership Retreat for Casas on Friday and Saturday, and finally on Sunday, we went to church, sunday school, lunch with the Dubs, and dinner with Chrissy and Ben at their beautiful new house!

Finally, the last week of April!  Lee flew to Dallas Monday afternoon for work stuff and came back late Tuesday night, we had dinner with the Ingrams at Road House (yum!), softball on Thursday, a fun date night on Friday, and then Lee left Saturday morning for his golf trip with Gabe.

All-in-all April was an amazing month, and I'm so blessed to serve a loving God along side my wonderful husband.  We truly are blessed! :)
